October News & Community Updates
It's already been over a month since the school year started and the children are settling-in beautifully. It's been wonderful seeing families from last year return and getting to know our new families.
Nap time introduced to the Tinies!
We are very excited to have introduced nap time for our tiniest Small Talkers. It kicked off at the beginning of October and has been going very well. Some parents even saying their little ones are sleeping better here than they do at home!
After school activities:
This month we have three different after school activities on offer: Yoga & Movement, Arabic and Arts & Crafts.

Book Launch at Diwan - Saturday 16th October:
One of our graduated Small Talker's Grandma is launching her book "Gasser Gecko goes to town" at Diwan (Maadi) this Saturday between 1 - 3 PM.
Gasser is an adventurous gecko who believes that there MUST be more to life than the Doctor’s house and garden where he and his family live, so he decides to find out for himself!
Camellia Hamdy has celebrated his daring exploit by sharing it with the world, so join them both and pick up your very own copy of Gasser’s story and
have your picture taken with him too!
Thinking of a furry family member? Meet the Maadi 5!
"Rescued from very difficult living conditions, five beautiful 6 month old kittens are ready for their forever families. All pure Shirazis (they've already been spayed and neutered), the crew is made up of 2 girls (both white) and 3 boys (grey, black and white, and pure white). Despite their awful beginnings, they are happy, playful, and confident little cats. They'll purr your ears off, play 'catch the ball' with you, and will crawl into your lap for hour long cuddle sessions every chance they get. They are looking for their forever families!"
